The Viaduct Rail Park

Join a Friends of the Rail Park board member and Special Guest: Paul Steinke for a street-level walking tour of the site of Philadelphia’s next great public space: The Viaduct Rail Park. This street-level tour will follow along elevated sections of the former Reading Railroad, and tour leaders will share stories of its history and visions for its future.
The tour will begin at North Broad Street and Noble and end at 10th and Hamilton Streets during which you will learn about this designed, engineered and shovel ready project.
Date: Wednesday, June 22, 2016
Time: The one-hour Tour will begin promptly at 5:30pm and will end with a cash-bar Happy Hour at the PHS Beer Garden at the Rail Park
Location: Beginning at the corner of North Broad and Noble Streets
Cost: FREE to Members and Guests (A voluntary $25 Donation to Friends of the Rail Park will be requested at the end of the Tour)
Additional Info: Please wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather!
