SUMMARY:Mass Transit in the Age of Covid- Looking Ahead
DESCRIPTION:As we transition into a post-Covid world\, many who live\, work
\, and play in cities and their suburbs are left wondering how this histor
ic period will affect one of our most integral infrastructures: mass trans

planners now fear its popularity may be waning due to concerns about healt
h and safety\, potentially leading to a slew of practical changes in our d
aily commutes. Lambda Alpha Philly is proud to present our next meeting fe
aturing national and local authorities on mass transit policy and practice
. Lambda Philly was joined by Professor Yingling Fan\, Ph.D. of University
of Minnesota and Richard Voith\, Ph.D. of Econsult Solutions for a discus
sion.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nProfessor Fan is a professor of Urban and Regional Pla
nning at the University of Minnesota. She was recently featured in the Nat
ional Geographic article “Your Daily Commute Will Never Be The Same.”

ef of the Journal of Transport and Land Use and the North American Editor
of Urban Studies.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nRichard Voith\, Ph.D. is the President and
Principal of Econsult Solutions\, a major Philadelphia based development\
, policy\, and land use consulting group. From Econsultsolutions.com: “D
